_VOID is a non-profit, nomadic initiative dedicated to showcasing media, sound, and technological arts across Scotland and beyond — sparking dialogue and pushing boundaries.

It is run by artists (Andrey Chugunov, Olesya Ilenok) for artists, technologists, DIY enthusiasts, and curious minds.
We are fostering sound, media and technological art.

The main aim of our initiative is to promote international media art to communities and mass audiences. We want to promote the international practices of digital, media, technology and sound art, as well as give a voice to both emerging and established artists, to build links between the Scottish and international scenes. Our exhibitions, screenings, workshops, and discussions create a space where all participants and viewers come together to explore the impact of technology through critical, poetic, and experimental lenses.

Our values are:
- Nomadism
Our gallery doesn't have a permanent home. It moves around to different venues and cities to show people media, sound and technological art.
- We bring media art closer to a wide audience
At our events, each work presented to the public is accompanied by a statement explaining the concept and technical realisation of the work.
- Redistributing opportunities and equipment
We are in favour of sharing technical possibilities with those who want to experiment, as well as distributing opportunities among artists.

- No underpaid overwork

We don't want other people to adapt their projects and ideas in favour of getting funding from our calls for artists. That is why our website will have a permanent form for accepting finished media artwork or ideas. From these works, we will be able to compose events with intertwining narratives. Please, share your ideas with us and sooner or later we will reponse.
- We are in favour of conceptualized events
This means that we try to match artists' works with each other in such a way that they develop a specific topic and engage in a dialogue.

We are keen to forge new connections with art institutions, artists, audiences and places across borders.
